Emails to Lead on Marketing module

Hi

I was using before the old marketing module where a campaign was created for a lead/account/contact. Emails were also sent to lead/account/contact.

This seems to be obsolete now.

Microsoft issued new module where only Contacts can be targeted!! 

To target a lead a contact must be created!! (what;s the scope of lead qualification process then ?!)

IS there any workaround as looks silly to create pair or contact just to be able to send email to lead ?!

    Hi,

    Thank you for the question.

     Yes, Email cannot be sent to the leads directly since the to address can only be set with the email address of contacts or the records in the entities who have a 1:N relationship with Contact entity (e.g. Account).

     This question has also been summited by other member of community.

    You can create a new idea through the below URL, then ask your colleagues to raise up the votes.

    HI,

    with Real-Time Marketing you are able to send e-mails to leads directly within a journey from what I know
