Are we encrypt customer data present in CRM?

Hello Team,

Need some information regarding encryption of CRM data.

Let me know is Customer data is encrypted at rest API or data service managed internally by Microsoft CRM?

Please provide answers on above ask.

Hello Carlos,

Reading the documentation that you attached, it looks like the Out of the Box CRM encryption is only available on specific entities like EmailServerProfile and Mailbox - is that correct?

Do you know if there's a way to encrypt a custom field on the Account entity, for example?
