Stock dimension Serial number is inactive and may consequently not be specified

Hi,

While invoicing the intercompany purchase order I have faced the below error "Stock dimension Serial number is inactive and may consequently not be specified" ,

I have checked from our end that the specific item tracking dimension group is "None" state.

Moreover, I have checked the tracking dimension group master data. Please find the below screenshot for reference.

Anyone, please assist to invoice this intercompany purchase order.

    The error suggests that the item is non-serial but somewhere a serial number has been entered

    1. Check the product receipt and pending invoice.  If a serial number is present in either of these you would see this error.

    2. Also check the InventDimId from the InventDim table for any characters in the InventSerialId field

    3. Last, check the InventSerial table for any blank serial numbers.  Blank is a valid serial number and may also trigger this error.

    Additionally, since this is inter-company, check Purchase/Sales order policies on the inter-company relationship.  You may want to un-check the serial number flag
