Sending dynamically email from CRM every day.

I have a requirement to replicate a function in crm 2011 in dynamics 365.

The requirement is to send an email of contacts created everyday to users.

I do no think a workflow is possible, so am open to using SSRS report or some Job every nights, I do no also think a plugin will help also.

Any that has done something similar can please share ideas am open to different implementations.

The the email is look like this

Also can the first name and organization have an hyperlink that will open up the CRM Record.

That will be perfect, also this report will just run once a day.

    Thanks I went with a custom workflow activity and Lucas Alexander workflow scheduler..it  works very well

    Hi,

    You can write a custom workflow and generate HTML email in your custom workflow and further schedule it run daily at specific time, you can utilise wait condition in your workflow. You can take some reference from here: www.powerobjects.com/.../create-recursive-or-scheduled-workflows-in-crm

    My free workflow scheduler managed solution has a feature which should be able to achieve this for you so it may be worth you giving a try. You can download it here

    It has a feature which can be configured to send emails with the results of a system view to users. It can be configure to send to either the owners of the records, or to a queue. In your case you could send it to a queue which is a distribution list or email address for a mailing group which contains all users

    So for example you could

    • Install the managed solution
    • Create a queue for an email address which will be sent to all users
    • Create a system view which returns all accounts created yesterday
    • Create a Workflow Task of type View Notification which runs every morning and is configured for the view created above
