Adding barcode image to additional text or document handling in Operation details

Hi there,

I m using AX at work.

I m working now on new route card for my plant.

I've met an issue with image adding to operation details.

Case:

I'd like to add barcode image or barcode font (if it is possible) directly to operation details.

I tried do it by using option "additional text" or "document handling but without positive results.

On the printed route card I still not see my image.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Let me know if you need more information's.

    Your requirements sounds like you need to involve an AX developer from your team or implementation partner, since it would be changes both for the route operation to be able to link barcode information there, and also a change for the SSRS report of the route card to include a barcode image based on the previous modifications.

    Please consult with your implementation team for the requirements.

    Thanks for reply.

    I was thinking about it but I know that by using document handling I'm able to add image to the operation details. I just don't know why it doesn't work now.

    If I'm adding image to the head of route card it works ok but when I'm trying to add image to the operation details I can't.

    Maybe there are some requirements that I can use only bmp format etc.

    Do you know something about it?

    I am afraid not, when I worked at a manufacturing company we have used License Plates also for semi-finished goods which were going through the routes. We have customized our solution to have stickers printed with those LPs and other relevant information as text and barcode.

    Ok, Thank you.

    I think that I found a way how to do that.

    I created a new stylesheet with barcode font.

    Next I used it in operation detail. To write not barcode font I'm using html code.
