Depreciation Posting error

Hi Folks,

As a part of Fixed asset opening balances upload, I have successfully uploaded and posted the acquisition entry but when I try to validate/ post the depreciation then its throw an error like "Voucher FADEP000110836
Fixed asset 10104-00014, book SL, has not been set up for depreciation".

I have enabled the depreciation in the fixed asset group and books. Do I required to enable this radio button in the fixed asset master as well? I have nearly 5000 fixed assets in the master.

I appreciate if you have any thoughts and thanks for your support in advance.( MS D365)

have you setup up the fixed asset posting profile for depreciation ?

if you made changes to value model in the setup section after fixed asset creation, do not affect your fixed asset right now.

You must open fixed asset and value model and enable depreciation the checkbox again.

Thanks for all your support. I have enabled and updated "Calculate depreciation" in all fixed asset and I posted them.
