I just spent 2 days with error in installation of BC.48967. DK
Issue seems to be that the Cronus Database is backed up from a SQL Express 2017. and the product DVD has SQL Express 2016. The errors provided are not explaining the problem only if i try to restore the backup manually i can see the reasons (after several hours of debugging).
I think this also would be a problem for other that tries to make a clean installation of the product. I needed it for migration from NAV 2016.
Please try to align the versions in the products you ship...
Errors I experienced from the event logger:
Message:
Cannot open database "Demo Database BC (14-0)" requested by the login. The login failed.
Login failed for user 'WORKGROUP\clickazure$'.
The dvd had installed the database but without any tables..
I solved it by Installing express 2019 and manually restoring the database here and manually pointing to the database in the install (if not it would install express 2016)
And manually open TCp/IP:
. Window key + R
. Enter SQLServerManager15.msc
. In SQL Server Network Configuration Node go to Protocols for MSSQLSERVER
. On right side set Enable for TCP/IP.
Please dont make things so hard for us to work with...

Hello Michael,
Sorry to see that this issue caused you so much inconvenience. This is a bug in BC 14.x cumulative update 37 that will be fixed in CU39 which is due to be released in early September.
It's good to know that you have a workaround in the meantime.
