When text box value change in CRM 2015 onpremises

Hi,

I came across one problem when i clicked on save button without moving out of cursor from textbox,the system take old value from the textbox and if i clicked any where before save button then system take new value from textbox.

Can you any body please tell me when any text value change in CRM whether onkeypress or onblur ?

Where does this happen.

The value should be changed even if you don't move off before clicking save.

Hi,

We have custom save and save & close button. It happen when i clicked on any one of the button.

Hi,

I think this is happening because field only get's dirty when you will pointer from textbox after entering value, this when onchange event fired for the text field, because in CRM 2015, field does not support keypress event.

CRM change the field value only when we move from textbox after entering value. XRM internally uses onchange event to set newly value into textbox.

By using document.getElementById we are getting the latest value from textbox but unfortunately Microsoft not recommending to use document.getElementById.

So only workaround is we have to click some where or move out from textbox before clicking on save or save & close button.

Wouldn't it be possible to add some sort of unfocus on all controls onsave?
