Inventory correction for serial number tracked items

For a specific s/n tracked item, inventory shows too many items. I need to adjust the inventory but must remove specific serial numbers. The standard "Adjust Inventory" dialog allows me to change the quantity of items in stock but does not have a selector for which serial numbers must be removed. Any suggestions for how to do this?

    you need to enter item on item journal line, then hit Item tracking lines, go to Select entries to choose the tracked item
