Unable to uninstall CRM 2016 on premise

We have a situation with an on-premise server that we've been unable to run the uninstall Add/Remove Programs for CRM 2016. Basically does nothing and does the same thing if trying to run the CRM 2016 install from the CD to see if might invoke the Uninstall/Repair. Looks to be a corrupt registry issue and wanted to know if anybody had a possible suggestion. The automated fix MS has for this type of issue states it works on WS 2012 R2 but says it's not the right environment. Trying not to step back on that server if at all possible.

    hi henry, the alternative is manually removing all the binaries...iv have to do this before and its not fun. plus you never know what issues your leaving behind. best thing is to format and start afresh is my best advise!

    Am afraid that's where we're headed but wanted to see if any Microsoft resources had an updated install fixit support routine

    Henry there is information available on removing crm installed components manually such as the following link ;

    technet.microsoft.com/.../hh699749.aspx

    However I strongly recommend starting afresh trust me you will thank me later as you dont want to inherit gremlins in skeletons in your crm installation
