Contract class field enabled/disable

Hi,

I have create some filter in contract class like a dropdown and a textbox. I need to show textbox as disabled field by default, and enable it depending on the selection on dropdown. How I can do this.

Note: I am not using UI Builder class.

The easiest way is to use UI builder, so what stops you from creating one ? Here is good example how to disable fields using it www.artofcreation.be/.../ax2012-sysoperation-part-3-sysoperationautomaticuibuilder
