System Message 20201 in AP Documents QQ

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I have been trying to create a QQ to provide us with outstanding checks.  My query works fine until I try to use the Last Update Date in AP Documents.  If I just include the field in the results there are no errors, however when I try to filter on that field I get System Message 20201.  If I build the query in SQL Management Studio it works fine but none of our users have access to run the query directly from SQL.  Does anybody know why this is happening?  Here is the exact message:

This change would actually need to be made in a view in SQL.

So with the qq_gltran view as an example, you would alter the view to get rid of that key word ‘update’.  You could change it to 'last updated user' or 'last user' or whatever you want, but it can’t contain the key word 'update' if you want to filter on that field.

On the QQ screen the filter choice is a drop down listing the columns chosen in the grid.  There is not an option to change the name of the field.

    This sounds like bug 30542.

I believe the problem is with the column name including the word Update.

Try using "Last Date" or "Last Updated Date".
