How to use numpad to enter quantity with button grid?

Hi experts,

I set a button grid as a Product Sale and link to a product. It work fine if I want to add a product with quantity 1 to sales order, however it won't work with numpad when I want to key an number follow by click button grid. For example, I key 3 and click the button grid to add 3 unit of this product but POS always add only 1 unit.

is this by design from Microsoft or need some setting?

    Hi Daniel,

The user Sakshi seems to just start spamming the forum with AI generated responses and a promotional link to a partner. I have notified the Community administrators to check her activity.

    Hi Sakshi,
My D365 dont have "Quantity Entry Before Product Selection" at Retail and Commerce > Channel setup > POS setup > POS profiles > Functionality profiles. My version is 10.0.41
*** Amendment - without this option "Quantity Entry Before Product Selection" at Retail and Commerce > Channel setup > POS setup > POS profiles
Follow Sakshi advice 2,3 make it works.

If you want to add an item with quantity using numpad in POS first enter quantity 2 enter '*' and then enter the SKU ID

    Example: 2 * 91100

The above method works only in numpad and I'm not sure if this configured to be worked as a button in a button grid.
