Function E-Mail Shipment in Posted Sales Shipment

When I use the E-Mail Shipment function to send out a packing slip to a customer the document is emailed with no default application. 
 
How do I set it to default to a PDF document so that the email recipient does not have to select PDF every time.

    This does not appear to be a standard feature of NAV. Please contact the partner who developed this feature.
    It looks like he left out the file extension in the code.
     
    Hope this can give you some hints.
