Hello,

Is there a report, either in BC or some app in Extension Marketplace that has item aging reports? Currently I am using the Analyze feature on the item ledger entries to do an item ageing by location.

Consult the standard reports mentioned:

Item Age Composition - Quantity

Item Age Composition - Value

These reports display the quantity and value of items based on their age, utilizing the Qty-in-Hand as of the report date.

You may consider creating a custom report if these reports do not align with your specifications.

This report can be designed to filter the Item Ledger Entry based on the Remaining QTY and posting date, which is the date you received the item. This approach will provide you with the duration each item (with remaining QTY from a specific production order, etc...) has been in inventory.

However, you may also be interested in knowing the last time an item (for that particular production order) was used. To obtain this information, you will need to access the Item Application Entry table (339) and look for inbound and outbound entries to establish the relationship and design your report accordingly.
