Hi..

I create new lead. Then i opened the lead under Details Section click activities and select new then create a new phone call activity. In that phone call activity notes tab i enter some message like "Call Tomorrow" then save and Clost the activity.

I want to view the notes in Activity Grid.

Thanks and Regards,

 Venkatesh.S

    Hi,

The reason you can't add Notes to the Activities grid is the relation of many Notes to one Activity. The grid does not display a list of records.
You can use the advanced find to find all the Notes that are related to Activities that regard Leads.

    Hope this helps,

    Yaniv Arditi

The reason you don't the Lead attributes data that the Note does not regard the Lead, but an Activity, which it turn regards the Lead.
The Advanced Search allows you to retrieve data from the 'parent' entity (which is Activity in your case) but not from the ancestor (the Lead).

If you need just the Name and Company Name attributes values from the Lead, consider writing some custom code that will copy these values from the Lead to the Activity. This way, these values will be available in the Advanced Search.
If you need more, consider creating a designated Reporting Services report.

    Hope this helps,

    Yaniv Arditi
