Automated tracking of phone calls as activities

Hi,

New to Dynamics so sorry if this is a novice question.  I'd like to make it as easy as possible for our sales team to record phone calls with contacts as an activity on the contact record.  Does anyone know of any good software or other customizations to make this happen?  This seems much easier to accomplish emails, and I'm sure we won't be able to fully automate tracking of all phone calls, but I'm wondering if anyone has any tips or software suggestions as a starting point?

    Hi,

    I could not understand if you mean by recording phone call activities with contact is through some dialer or directly on the contact form by creating manual phone call activity.

    For manual phone call activity tracking you can simply navigate to the active area corresponding to the contact record and create a new phone call activity for it.

    Now as I can understand it should be an automated process you might require some 3rd party CTI services like Avaya, Cisco, Skype or any medium through which integration can be done on the events generated through the dialer.

    Please let me know if you have required any assistance for integrating the same.
