Dear All,

I have a requirement. In dialog customer wants below options :

ESIC         EmployerPF
ESIC1       EmployerPF1

Note : User can select any one option at at time.

For example : If user select ESIC then EmployerPF should select automatically and same for ESIC1.

Then OK.

Please give me more shed on this.

Thanks!

Arpan Sen

In other words, you want to merely display the employer associated with ESIC or ESIC1 (whatever it is) but you don't know how, right? (Assuming that this is the problem, as you forgot to ask any question.)

Yes, I don't know how to do this in dialog.

Please give me more shed on this.

    Thanks!

In general, you simply fetch the employer and set it as the value of the dialog field.

Details depend on what dialog it is. For example, if you model the dialog by yourself, you add the field, keep a reference to it and then call its value() method(). Or if it's a modeled form, you can use a displayed method.

    Hey @arp@an,

Can you attach the screenshot of this dialog? It's going be easier to understand your requirement and find solution.

No, it's not possible. Dialogs can be implemented in many different ways and I don't know which one you're using.

Also, it's better if you understand your problem and the solution; coding is the easy part. Just copying a piece of code that you don't understand won't make you a better programmer.

    Hi Arpan,

Just take a look at these Links to get an idea how the dialogs would be generated. But you'll have to figure out how you would go about creating a viable solution for your exact issue. Since you haven't really discussed that here.

    HI a-kow,

I need a simple dialog. which contains  2 radio buttons and 2 check boxs :

Radio button ESIC          Check box  EmployerESIC

Radio button ESIC 1        Check box  EmployerESIC 1

    Requirement :

Suppose if user select Radio button ESIC then check box EmployerESIC should check automatically. Same for ESIC1 also.

Can you please send me the code.

    Thanks!

    Hi Arpan,

I've already provided you two links up there, one and two which show how to create a dialog with radio buttons. But we cannot do your work for you. We can simply guide you the best we can.

Please try to develop a solution based on the information provided to you and do come ask for help if you get stuck somewhere with a particular issue specifying what exactly is it that you need help with, not "give me a code" kind.
