HI All,
I would like to know the "Functionality" Behind "Asset group" field in Item group form > setup tab.

Hi Karunakaran,
The purpose is to be able to post separate Asset groups to different main accounts when posting transactions (such as acquisition, depreciation and disposal). In some countries you are by law required to keep certain types of assets in separate accounts, and in other cases Finance just wants more detailed control of the Assets.
