What does this error mean and how can I fix it?
 
This entry has an ongoing application process 'CHECKING BOA-28-10000', it is applied in another journal. Process this journal before proceeding.

    Do you have another open bank rec. with the same entry? The same entry is being applied/used in 2 different places.

    No, I only have one payment reconciliation journal open, the one I'm working one, and it's giving me that error.  I've looked everywhere I know and I have no idea how to "process this journal before proceeding."

    In the Payment Reconciliation Journals Page do you perhaps multiple batches/statements created?

    It could be also other journals, not only the Payment reconciliation journal.

    But yes, the error states, that You have created an entry and applied it to this entry, but haven't posted the entry yet.
    Then You have created another entry and also try to apply to the same entry as for the other entry. You would need to remove the application from the other entry, then You can post this. 


    Sometimes I have seen glitches, that entry has been applied, and then the line was deleted, but in the entry application window it still shows Applies to ID value (when You press Apply entries button).
