Hello Marketing Experts!
I am working on double-Opt in in marketing module. It is working fine for consent and subscription. but I want to update the lead information through double-opt in.
My business is that in system i have leads and their associated contacts. I am sending email to these contacts and in the email I'm sending them Form1 and getting their basic information like name and email etc. after user submits the information before updating or creating the lead in system i want from user to confirm it or update it . There is no issue in confirming but if user want to update the information again how I will achieve this . Im using FORM level double opt in . and in confirmation message we only have option to confirm but not to update the information again .
Thanks,
Fariha Asmat
Hi Fariha,
as Clofly has written before, such exact scenario is not supported OOB. DoI, afaik, is mostly used to confirm C2 desire to receive special type of communication (transactional/commercial/etc) or to confirm their consent level. So, confirming change of personal data this way is an interesting use case and would be great to have it posted on the IdeaHub.
What can be done about it now, is using Subscription Center page to update personal info - same way as it is done when managing newsletters/subscription lists. The link to SC is individual, SC form can pre-populate personal data that needs to be verified and C2 user will be able to update it if required. Will it work for you this way or there's some specific that I've missed?

Hi Fariha,
Thanks for exploring DOI feature.
DOI is an OOB module, currently it couldn't be customized by us.
According to all available Handlebars expressions that are mentioned in the doc articles of both global DOI and form DOI, only change of subscription lists and consent level are supported to be tracked.
Global DOI:
Form DOI:
Welcome to share your thought to Ideas forum.
