How to get current financial year and previous

Hi all,

How we know our current financial year and previous year period, in code.

    In the UI, I know it is from Ledger there is Fiscal Calendar.

    But how to get it in X++ ?

    Found this FiscalCalendarYear feature, whether I can use it to get the current Fiscal calendar and find the start date.

    Please advice.

    Hi WWwong,

    To find the current "Fiscal calendar year" you can use method FiscalCalendarYear::findYearByCalendarDate, for prev. year FiscalCalendars::findPrevYear.

    In both cases, first parameter is "Fiscal calendar" assigned to a legal entity, which can be found by statement:

    FiscalCalendar::find(Ledger::fiscalCalendar(CompanyInfo::current()))

    Second parameter is date of search, in your case it will be current date.
