Licence file problem

Hi

I installed a Dynamics AX2012 R3 on a server for Demo and lerning purpose.

I do have a license file valid until 31.07.2021 available.
after my installation I have a license in the system ending in 2006. I am SystemAdmin and try to import the license file I do have.

Doing this the system asks to sync the db and then fails with not having appropriate user rights.

As mentioned I am SysAdmin in AX and my user ist dbo owner in SQL server

What am I doing wrong

    Run application as Administrator, this session error will go off.

    I use Demo license file looking like this:

    LicenseVersion 2

    License #Contoso Entertainment

    Properties

     Name #Contoso Entertainment

     Serial #M5244154

     Date #31.07.2021

    EndProperties

    Codes

    Are you using the demo license file or generating a file from partner source?

    The Sync did work after the mentioned Steps but I still cannot change the license file. When I select the one I like system does a sync, but expiry date stays on 01.06.2006 and does not take the 31.7.2021 from the selcted file

    Yes I know thats why I need to chance the license file which is not working because of the error we discuss ;-)

    Please check the license expiration date on the license information form. That could be the issue with no access to DEV workspace.

    Yes, I will try some. but cannot do all of them because there ist no access to the DEV Workspace as well for some reason

    Did you restart the AOS service after changing the service account?
