Disable switching to other company

Hi all,

In my nav 2016 database I have different companies. Only one is for production. Others are for tests.
I want that on the clients only one company is visible in the select list (accessible). Is that possible?

Hi,

One way is you may restrict it in the User card by selecting the Company while setting the permission, but this is actually at the User level, i.e even if the user logs in from any terminal, it will show only that Company in the List.

Otherway, is to customize.

What you could do is to modify the CompanyOpen function in the "ApplicationManagement" codeunit. (but this won't restrict the list, but you can control, if the user selects another company to display an error message or so).

that is not possible. but you can assign a special company to each user. so that user can only work within that company.

Please add Company name is permission sets of User.
