I tried to create a workflow whereby the user runs it on a Project entity (custom) and upon running it, sends an email to the primary contact of the customer account linked with the project. Indeed, I set up an Email Server Profile which will cater for sending emails directly to Gmail and also tested it with a number of CRM accounts. This works fine.
Now the primary contact account contains a simple gmail address that is not related with CRM. The problem is that when I run the Workflow and check the process' session log, it shows that the process ran successfully but no email is received by the primary contact.
