Hi,

I am trying to find specific path value in database.

How do I find string value such as "C:\temp\abc%" in a particular database of all tables.

Thanks in advance.

Shaikh

Check this out but be careful as this could turn into an intense search.

    Shaikh,

You could also use a FREE search tool from Apex called Apex Search. It is very good and will allow you to look for dates, strings, numbers, dates, etc. and you can specify which tables www.apexsql.com/Download.aspx

Check it out, I think you'll like it. It's my 'go to' tool for searching the database; you can even select to search ALL of the databases in a single search.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

    Hi Shaikh,

GP Company Database having Some default Stored Procedure for Searching particular String Value.Using below Procedures you can find Date,Number and String Value.

    dbo.SearchAllTablesForDate

    dbo.SearchAllTablesForNumber

    dbo.SearchAllTablesForString

    Hope this helps!!!
