Is there anyway someone can download a PDF after filling in a marketing form?

I'm looking to get people to fill in a form then once they have, they click a 'download' button which will straight away download a PDF.

Thanks,

Jon

    Hello @jonrisual ,

You can do that but you will need to host your file somewhere else.

This blog might help, it is the same concept, just replace the calendar invite file with your own file.

    Hi jonrisual,

You can add some customized submission behaviors to your form.

In your scenario, you could add direct link of PDF file to Redirect URL field.(after you selected whole form in marketing page designer)

After contact submitted form successfully, then he'll be asked to whether download pdf file.

You could also create an extra page in Portal and paste download link on the page, then add this page as Redirect URL.

    Great thank you!

    I have another question...

Is there a way I can create an email in Dynamics, then export it so that my sales team can send it via outlook to their clients?

We have tried forwarding the email after it has been sent from dynamics, but this just distorts the email.

    Thanks,

    Jon

    Hi Jon,

The reason which distorted the mail could be that clients of your sales team had different client devices,

you could enable Litmus checker to get email preview among different devices and platforms.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/email-preview#use-the-advanced-inbox-preview-feature

To export an email from dynamics and send it via outlook,

you could copy marketing email HTML source code directly, save it as a HTML file,

then send it as an attachment to clients of sale team in outlook,

which means we send email as a web page directly instead of email content itself.

In theory, it should be same as what we see from Basic preview, and distortion issue would be avoided.

(But if there are dynamic contents such as {{contact.firstname}} in marketing email, you should still test with Litmus and make layout modification by yourself)

Please open a new thread if you had any issue about email layout compatibility across different devices and platforms.

If you had found any answer helped, please kindly mark as verified, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Clofly
