Hello Marketing Experts,

I have a requirement to control the personal tracking of the contact with his/her consent . I want if contact allow personal tracking only then the crm marketing / saler person can see the interaction of the contact which are available in "Insights Tab"

I was looking into this document

 https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/gdpr#:~:text=customized%20as%20required.-,Overview%20of%20GDPR%20features%20in%20Dynamics%20365%20Marketing,in%20the%20data%20protection%20law.&text=You%20can%20configure%20each%20customer,minimum%2Drequired%20level%20of%20consent.

I "do not allow" the tracking field of the contact and send him the email but in its insight tab ia m able to sett the interaction like email sent, email delivered and email open etc.

My Business requirement is that if at customer level tracking is set to  DO NOT ALLOW so  the information on its insight tab and its interaction will not be available.

Thankyou

    Hello Fariha,

Those are the settings you would need to implement to prevent the tracking for the contact record.  To enforce these settings, you will want to make sure you enable the GDPR settings, as this is what would enforce those options:  docs.microsoft.com/.../gdpr

By default, GDPR features such as consent management are disabled on new Dynamics 365 Marketing installations. To enable or disable the features:

Go to Settings > Advanced settings > Marketing settings > Data protection tools.

A list of Active GDPR configurations opens. If a configuration already exists, then select that one to open it; if no configuration yet exists, then select + New on the command bar. You can have at most one GDPR configuration.

    The GDPR Configuration form opens.

    Make the following settings:

Name: Enter any name that you like.

Respect consent: Set to Yes to enable GDPR features throughout your app. Set to No to disable them.

Select Save at the bottom-right corner of the window.

    Regards,

    Brad
