How to change career from MS CRM to MS AX?

Hey guys, I'm currently working as a CRM developer and I think the demand for AX is much higher than CRM, so I'm considering start learning AX, are there any books or online training that would help? Or is there anybody who's also been working as a CRM developer before? I need some instructions on how to start and where to start learning AX.

Welcome to the Dynamics AX world..

Yes, as you said... demand for AX is much higher than CRM

For you to start with Dynamics AX will not be that difficult as you are already in Microsoft ERP family as you work on Microsoft CRM..

Compare to Dynamics CRM, Dynamics AX is a complete ERP and its having one module as Customer Relation management which has functionality same as Microsoft CRM

other than this Dynamics AX is having other module which makes it a complete ERP.

Though Dynamics AX is having its own programming language and IDE...

Now with Dynamics AX 2012 it is having much more seamless integration with visual Studio 2010, which is good for you to start.

Dynamics AX development is complete Object Oriented Programming.. and you should be through with it.

As you are Microsoft CRM developer so it will again be not a new thing to you.

Rest to start with Dynamics AX training for begin development you may go for some training or MSDN for details.
