RMS v2 Hotfix 40 / How to change color to line items added to item list

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi folks,

I'm running RMS v2 + Hotfix 40, is there to change the color to line items added to the item list?

I need to change the color to bold green if the item has QOH (quantity on hand) equal to zero or less than zero.

Is this possible without using custom plugins?

    Hi nualex.

Like Rick sugested, this is not possible to be done in RMS POS.

But, I have done something similar, looong time ago, so I will just give You an idea: You can create a new HTML Status bar on top of the items grid, that can be changed automatically with each item you add to the transaction, and depending on the QOH, you can paint this Item in the color you want. My task was a little bit different, but this could be done... Now, you will have the items grid "duplicated" let say, but you have the advanteges to play with the "upper HTML grid", for example only show the Items with this condition, or show them with the picture or show them few in a row or .... many options...

As I always suggest, talk to your RMS Partner...

    Kind regards, A.
