Is there anyway to add component after posting in manufacturing module?

Respected All

I have an issue in Dynamics GP manufacturing module. Whenever i issued items through component transactions entry window i can not issue more items or extra quantity of same items which i have already issued and post against one Manufacturing Order.

Please let me know if there is any solution or work around available.

If you have already issued the desired quantities of your items in Component Transaction Entry you can add the additional items/quantities to the picklist and then you will be able to go into Component Transaction Entry and issue these items.

David is correct. I would add if the MO is closed you no longer have the option to increase the picklist too. In that case, you would need to do an inventory adjustment to relieve the component.

One option is to open the Picklist associated with the manufacuring order and increase the component quantities required there. Then, you can go back to Cpt Trx Entry window and issue more items to the job.
