Hi Guys,

I got excel sheet from our client to upload opening stock in BC Saas. It includes qty, bins no, locations, zone and expiry, They are having both Basic and Advance warehouses type.

How should I do it? What steps needs to follow. Is there any template available.

Also, after uploading, do i need to pass any GL entry? Please suggest.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

Microsoft provides a CRONUS company which may be helpful to look at how advanced warehousing can be implemented. Many partners use their own setup and templates with requires modifications.

Hopefully, if you share the setup of the Excel sheet after scrubbing / deleting possible PII data and / or deleting data that is relevant and important for the customer only, then you may be able to get a response from the community.

    Thank you.

You would need to do these steps - for simple warehousing

    Create Items (and related lists)

    Create Locations

Create Bin list (and add specific Zone to each Bin)

Create Item Journal entries with positive adjustment. (through Configuration package for table 83)

The tricky part is the Expiration date (it can be imported through configuration package in Item Journal line, but it is no visible in page).

    For Advanced warehousing locations:

You have to import in Whse. Item Journal  (or was it just Warehouse journal).
