Our Purchasing Department recently got new Windows 10 PCs. Now the first time they email a PO from Dynamics GP each day, it asks for the network password. Is there a way to change that? It didn't do that with their old Windows 7 PCs. Thanks.
Our Purchasing Department recently got new Windows 10 PCs. Now the first time they email a PO from Dynamics GP each day, it asks for the network password. Is there a way to change that? It didn't do that with their old Windows 7 PCs. Thanks.
If using 'Exchange' for the mail type in System Preferences, in Dynamics GP, when a user first goes to do anything with email, it will give them the Exchange Log In window where they have to enter credentials. Once they do that, it won't prompt them for as long as they are in that GP session, but if they log out and log back into GP, they'll have to enter the credentials again the first time they try to email or access an email window.
This wouldn't have anything to do with whether using Windows 7 or Windows 10 PCs.
If they're not using Exchange, then they would be using MAPI, which only requires a default mail profile on the workstation, and doesn't prompt with the Exchange Log In window.
