Clean Instance Data

Hi

We are trying to load data from a ETL tool to our CRM instance and test the data.  We have three cycles to do this and at the end of each cycle we need all the data to be cleaned off the system. I understand "Reset" is an option but that removes all our customization and integrated components too and is not a preferred way. Is there a way that i clean up all the date from the system (other than bulk delete)? Please advise!

we use Dynamics 365 online v9.0.2

Thanks

Mohan

    Hi Mohan ,

Yes , minimal copy should move user  customization, core configuration data, and users from the source to the target.

Minimal copy does it move all the solutions? We had trouble moving the solutions!!

    Hi Mohan,

The best way to do this is by creating a minimal copy instance. However, you need to be aware of certain minimal copy side effects.

    Hi Mohan,

You should go for minimal copy as David already suggested. I cant see any other options if you don't want to use bulk delete.

Taking a minimal copy is one option. You don't get to choose which entities keep data, so you may need to use the odd bulk delete as well
