Hello Team,
I have created a custom field " Days of delivery" (multi-choice option) and I want it to appear on the quote template but I cant see it on XML Mapping? Is there a way to see it there so that it can be shown on the quote.

By default, all fields in the primary entity (on which doc. template is generated) shall be available.
The schema name of the field will be listed out in the XML Mapping Pane.
Can you confirm after checking with the schema name (e.g. new_fieldname)
I can confirm that there is NO new_fieldname. See file attached.
"new_fieldname" is mentioned as an example.
When you create a field it shows schema name. (prefix + underscore + nameOfField)
What is the prefix you used in your solution?
Can you go the entity and check the schema name of the field (settings --> Customization --> Entities --> Quote --> Fields --> "your new field" --> double click the new field --> check the schema name
Thanks. I understand that. In the Quote entity, I created a field called Approver Name (Display Name), new_ApproverName (Schema Name) but I can't see it in the XML Mapping in Word. I noticed the state is "Unmanaged". IS it the problem?
being "Unmanaged" has no impact on document templates.
It should be available to choose.
Did you generate the word template before creating the field? OR after creating the field?
I just created the field and then I uploaded the document. there are also some old fields that I created couple of weeks ago that are still invisible.
This document (quote Summary) is being updated regularly
Word template contains only those fields which were there in the entity at the time of creation of word template.
By creation, i mean, creation from setting--> templates--> Document templates--> New--> word template --> choose entity.
Any new field added in the primary entity after creation of word template, will not be available.
To get new fields listed, you need to create the word template again.
