Making Global Dimension 2 a mandatory dimension based on Global Dimension 1

Hi all,

If this has been asked and answered, I apologize - I couldn't find any prior thread.

Is there a way to make the Global Dimension 2 a mandatory field based on the dimension value of Global Dimension 1?
For instance if GD1 had values of North, South, East, and West, then if when choosing a GD1 of North, then a GD2 field would be necessary as well? But not if GD1 was South, East or West?

Currently I'm trying to solve this in NAV 2016 but I would hope (if solvable) that the solution is also valid for Business Central.

Thanks,

Curtis
