    Hi,

Are you trying to make the entries manually?

How are the lines inserted into the phys. inventory journal, did you use calculate inventory function ?

    Hi,

    Suresh, it was manually inserted.

You need to use the calculate Inventory function, because the Phys. Inventory field on the item journal line should be set to yes, and if you add the line manually that field will be No.

You mean if I manually insert same journal lines in Item Journal, and then go back to Phys. Inventory Journal ? Then I can manually insert in Phys. Inventory Journal ?

No, don't insert records manually, go to Phys. Inventory Journal and then run the action calculate inventory, if you want to run for a specific item set filters over there. Manually creating entries will not have Phys. Inventory set to yes. the function will set the field to yes.

Or you need to set that Phys. Inventory field to yes.

    Thank you!

One more question. How to set Phys. Inventory field to yes?

Unfortunately you can set that manually using the page as that field is non-editable, you have to write the code.
