How to get a BC Free Trial

Hi,

I am trying to procure a free trial for BC following the instructions on Sign up for a free trial - Business Central | Microsoft Learn page. However, as as I click on the "Try for free" button (screenshot below), I expect it to take me to the registration/sign-up page but it doesn't. It just opens a new tab with the same webpage where I find the "Try for free" button again. Its really frustrating that this is not working for me at the moment. Am I missing something here? I have tried incognito, multiple browsers, clear cache and cookies etc. but nothing is changing for me.

Are you getting this pop-up? It will open new tab with same info if we click on No, Keep my location.

    Hi Mohana,

Yes I do get this pop-up, however both actions on this pop-up result in the same outcome as described in my original post above.

So I found the solution which is a bit strange and I do not understand how it worked but it did. If anyone else is facing this issue it might be of use.

I noticed that the "Try for free" button is hyperlinked with the following: go.microsoft.com/.../

The last part of the link '0x413' may be different for you. However i replaced the last part with '0x411' and it worked. This is obviously a workaround and I do not understand why/how it works but it worked for me. The original issue still persists and must be fixed by MS.

    Hi,

try with this URL: businesscentral.dynamics.com/ if you're not signed in with any of your work accounts.. it should redirect you to the page below.

If it still won't work make sure you are not using any VPN.. or else try it with incognito mode..

You can always reach out to a solutions partner who can quickly set you up for a free-trial.  Hope this helps.
