RDLC lay-out has reduced resolution

Hi guys,

I have the following PNG picture in a word and RDLC lay-out:

But as soon as I try to generate a document in Business Central with a RDLC lay-out, the picture is reducing its resolution:

The lines are thicker.

While the word lay-out has the right resolution:

Do you guys have any idea why the RDLC is reducing the resolution? Is PNG not the right file type?

It looks normal in the report builder:

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Casper

How do you add the image in RDLC?

    Embedded, Database, External?

Images can/will be resized in RDL:

    [MS-RDL]: Image.Sizing | Microsoft Learn

Images in paginated reports - Microsoft Report Builder & Power BI Report Builder | Microsoft Learn

    Hi Hein,

    Thank you for your help.

However, the image is then way too big :'/.

Is there another way to edit the size of the image and keep the right resolution?

When you imbed the image, it's converted to txt, when you open the rdlc file in notepad you will see that. The resolution can change then.

To keep the resolution, I suggest to try the other options, database or external.
