Related account for an activity view

Hi

I wonder if it possible to display (as a column) in a view the related account for an activity, if the regarding is something else then an account?

What I mean: If I create an opportunity for a specific account. And then create an activity for this opportunity, can I display this activity in a view and in the same time I can see the related account (as a column)?

You could just add the "regarding" field to the view.

However, if you want to have this for other entities then an account, you would need to add this for every related entity you expect to be in there.

Ok, this works, but if i want to see the account that is related to this activity, is it then possible? If regarding is something else then an account (if the regarding is contact, quick campaign etc..)?

Yes, make a view on activities.

Go to "add column", change the recordtype to "Regarding (opportunity)" and add the field "Account (parentaccountid)".
