Updating Item Sales Price in advance

Hi

For one of our company we have a few special Customer Price Group. But for majority of customers Unit Price in Item card is the MSRP (sales price) which means no Customer Price Group for those customers. Also we did not activated "New sales pricing experience" yet. We will have a price increase in 3 months.

Is it possible that I add a new price to BC in advance and set the Start date 3 months from now if I do not have Customer Price group for majority of customers?

Thanks

    Hi Kim

Thank you so much. This is really helpful. I did not know that.

On the Item Card, go to Prices & Discounts

Under the Sales Type, you have choices for Customer, Customer Price Group, All Customers, Campaign. If you choose All Customers, you can leave the Sales Code column empty, enter your unit price with a starting date!

    Hi Kim Dallefeld

Thanks for info. Can you please provide an example for "have to use a pricing structure other than the MSRP on the item card.". What other pricing structure? Do you mean sales price in item card (which has a relationship with Customer Price Group)? Or somewhere else?

    Thanks for your help

You can only do starting dates if setting up item prices, customer prices or campaign prices. There is no starting date applicable to the item card. You do not have to use Customer Price Groups for starting dates but you have to use a pricing structure other than the MSRP on the item card.
