Allow user see G/L account number but avoid show COA number

Hi there,

We're try to setup a customized permission which allow user to see the list of G/L account, but hide the amount of row in COA. (not only hide page, but remove the table permission).

Could you please advice which table I need grant which need forbid? Thank you.

    Hi,

    There was an interesting session on the Business Central Launch Event called "Whats new in permissions and user management" that explained how this can be achieved. If you subscribed you can see it here

    In this session the persenters made a copy of the "D365 BUS FULL ACCESS" permission set and then excluded the "Chart of Accounts" page. By doing this a user assigned this permission set could create transactions using "G/L Accounts" but couldn't see the "Chart of Accounts" page. 

    I crested it my demo set as per below:
