Hello ,
I have issues on developing program by using Dexterity. Can some one look at my sanscript and advise me if I need to make any changes. Following are the steps i did :

Dear User,
Please compile and run the dexterity dictionary via test mode and make sure your validations work.
for changing dictionary to text mode, you need to copy the following files
1) GPwin32.dll from GP folder to Dexterity folder.
2) Dex.ini from GP data folder to Dexterity Data folder.
Once you have tested via test mode, Convert it into chunk file via Dexterity utilities and deploy it to GP folder.

Hello,
Following are the steps i did but when I try to open My Customized window in Test Mode. Nothing happens . Infact I get the message that I need to run the Dynamics2.exe utitilities and after this Window gets closed . nothing happens . Can anyone let me know what I am missing?? Down below are the steps I did:

Note that I don't have installed DEXSENSE and SUPPORT DEBUGGING TOOL. The only product I have Installed is Dexterity on my local machine where as GP Or SQL server are installed on Terminal server.
Since the dexterity was showing me the message that I need to run Utilities so I tried to run the Dexterity Utilities but I don't know what options do I select?? Can You please let me know with the screen shot??

Dear user,
For running test mode to check your customisation, GP must be installed in your local.
Once installed, you can test your code.
during test mode, you can step in your code to see the customised changes

Thanks Nattis for helping me out. But Do I need to run Dynamics GP Utilities and If yes then how ?? or Do I need to run Dexterity Utilities and If the answer is yes for Dexterity Utilities then Do I need to select any option on Dexterity Utilities??
Note I am getting the same message even when I have GP installed on my machine locally and Nothing happens when I run Dynamics Utilities. If I need to run DEXTERITY UTILITIES THEN HOW????
Dexterity Utilities is for creating chunk after tested the customised objects via test mode.
Did GP was installed in your machine? if its not installed, please install and follow the steps mentioned above.
your server GP should match your local PC
once installed, make sure you have granted full permission on GP folder.
Also make sure below options set in Dex.ini in GP/Data folder
Initial=FALSE
Synchronize=FALSE
AutoDisplayUpdate=TRUE

Yes GP is installed on my desktop machine but the sql server is installed on server.
After making all these changes you have recommended me doing in DEX.INI (Initial =False, Synchronize = False, AutoDisplayUpdate=True) , the issue is still there.
Thanks Nattis for your help. Finally I figured it out. By mistakenly I copied DEX.ini file onto DEX 18.0 Folder where as I had to copy this file in DATA folder which also lies under DEX 18.0
After this I was able to open the TEST mode but how do I run Debug on the script while staying in TEST mode because My new customize window is not showing up in test mode??
Can you please help me in this regard.
I think you can add breakpoint on the code and navigate to test mode. Once you open your customized screen, it will open the code in debugger mode. You can step in, step out and make changes.
