Reversing project PO receipt

I have raised a PO from PR in a project. And posted product receipt which will be added in project item requirements. I have a scenario which requires to reverse the product receipt. But While doing that, I am facing an error "Cannot modify the product receipt XXXX as it has linked item requirements". Can anyone guide me on this?
