Dear reader,
I've been searching for this for quite some time. And even though I don't seem to be the only one, I still don't think I found the actual solution. Maybe it's perception, maybe just messing up search words, but here I am.
We've created a new entity called ActiveDirectory (lots of fields in there, being filled by SSIS directly from AD). I'd like to associate our systemuser entity with it.
So, in systemuser, I created a lookup field called "AD record". Works like a charm to manually fill it. But ofcourse I'd like that to happen automatically.
So I created a workflow with eeeeehm, well, I don't know! The AD entity contains at least two attributes (AD guid and username) that I could possibly match against, but I'm lost.
If I use third party workflow steps like msdyncrmworkflowtools, I can query for and associate by URL (or other versions use GUID), but still the association doesn't seem to work and I can't get my "AD record" field to be populated.
This feels like somekind of every day business, but I just can't get it flying.
Any ideas?
Thanks for thinking along with me.
Regards,
Jeroen
