Business Process Flow Using two entities(CDS)

Posted on by 15

Hi All,

I have requirement where I need to use two different entity in stages. I am facing error while achieving this-

So basically when we switch stages from one entity to another we need to choose the record or click on 'create' option. But when I click on create option I get "Insufficient permission" error.

How do get rid of that error?

Suppose I have  7 stages 5 are of one entity and 2 are from another entity. So when I change stage from 5th(positive contact) to 6th(connect to) stage I want that record to come up there to select when I click on "Next stage".
Also, my second entity is empty. I want to fill data for last 2(connect to and details) stages for the record I have created using first 5 stages .

How can I achieve that?

    Hi Tejasvi,

The user maybe has no privilege of create for the connect to entity.

Administrator can go to settings > Users > Manage roles to see which security role are assign to the user firstly.

Then go to settings > security role, click roles that the user has, then find that connect to entity to set create permission level.

    Hi

Do this user has privileges for the connect to entity?

Please verify that the user has the correct privileges.

    Hi Tejasvi,

it sounds like your user doesn´t have the create privilege for the Connect To entity... it would be helpful to see the actual error message. Secondly I understand, that you don´t want to create the record but have a selection of records there shown in the stage panel? I don´t know if that´s even possible. Did you choose a relationship between the stages when you built the bpf (as in my screenshot the relationship between the lead and the opportunity)? If yes, then you would definitely need to create a new one since so relating record is there yet.
