Managing Prices on sales orders

Hi,

I require a validation on the sales order price management.

I have set up the price agreement journals for the definition of prices per price group and my customer is associated to a price group.

When I capture a sales order, the user can change the price?

Is there a configuration to force a user to use the price from the journals or should I set the unit price field to non-editable on the sales order line?

    Hi Tulika,

    Can't you control this through your role setup?

    Regarding your question to make the field not editable: This depends on whether or not all users should not be able to edit the field value or not. If only some are affected, a simple change in the edit property won't help and a more sophisticated System modification might be required.

    Hi Ludwig,

    Ok, I am not missing on configuration.  would need to control thought the role setup as some  users are allowed to update the prices .
