Merge PDF files in the DocuView form

We have an requirement to merge PDF files we can attach in the DocView form (see screenshot). Currently each line if the type is 'File' has it's own attachment, for example an invoice. According requirement, DocuView form should be extended with a button /Merge PDF/ . This button should add a new record ,collecting the PDF attachments of the existing records, merge these and place it as an attachment for the created line.

Does anyone know if there were I can find an X++ example how to achieve this or via a D365 forum or via an example in D365 Finance?

You can use PDFsharp (or maybe some other similar library) to merge PDF files. For example, look at PDFsharp Sample: Combine Documents.

I suggest you first write C# code to test the approach and then either rewrite to X++, or wrap it to a library and call the library from X++.
