How to Update unit price on sales order line automatically when we change the values manually.

you can see the before pictures were if ,i edit the values and tab to next field . the changes does not occurs in the unit price field . can u please suggest me.

Hi padmapriya,

I tested this in an AX2012 R3 CU11 environment and was able to change it.

Maybe you are working in an old Contoso system that has a bug?

Irrespective of that, I would recommend that you create a new sales order because the one you show above is already invoiced.

Try again with a newly created sales order and let us know whether this resolves the issue.

I am currently in AX2012 R3 CU12 environment and it is not invoiced it is new open order.

Hi Padma varatharajan 123,

The screenshot above shows a sales order (No. 15) with the status invoiced.

Are you working on a different sales order then?

In any case, when you enter the product and enter a site, do you get a pop up message that asks you whether the price should be overwritten?

Please test entering a different price and switch the inventory site, then you should see the Pop up window, which might be the underlying reason for your problem.

Hi Padma varatharajan 123,

As Ludwig suggested the sales order is invoiced and you wont be able to change the unit price for the line.

In case you are working on some other sales order which has a open status and you are not able to edit the price then it could be roles for your user.

Try creating a new sales order or try editing prices for a open sales order if you are not able to edit then it could be your roles does not gives you permission to edit prices.
