Export data using data exchange definitions

Hey Everyone ,

I Need to export table data into CSV format is there any way to do it with Data Exchange Definitions in Business Central ? or any other method ?

    You can use Configuration packages for Excel, or XML port to get the data out.

    Thanks Nitin. If I use configuration package, the data will be exported to Excel file which is not performance friendly. So if I would like to get a dump of ILE, this will take a lot of time. I am looking for a solution similar to Universal Dataport that we used to have in earlier version.

    Hi,

    Yes, you are right, so now you can use the Inbuild functionality on ILE page, open in Excel, if its also does not really with performance friendly too, you can ask your developer to create an XML Port with the required fields and use that. If will allow you to create CSV format too.
